On Wednesday, May 28th, Morrow County Elections updated the vote results from the mail-in ballots for the May 20th election. For Morrow County School District’s bond measure 25-104, the updated results are 50.10% for YES votes and 49.90% for NO votes.

According to election law, the bond measure would pass with a simple majority vote, which is 50% of the votes plus one additional vote. Official certification of the election results will occur on June 16th.

According to MCSD Superintendent Matt Combe, with the vote continuing to remain so close, the school district will wait until the June 16th official certification to be completed by Morrow County elections before they announce the final voting results.

Bond measure 25-104 would raise $204.4 million, and the district would receive a $6 million matching grant from the Oregon School Capital Improvement Matching Program. If passed, the bond would fund projects at all MCSD schools. For more information about the bond, visit mcsdbond.org
