World Kindness Day was formed to promote kindness throughout the world and is observed annually on November 13. The World Kindness Movement describes the observance “to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness which binds us.” Today let’s take an extra moment to reflect on the positive potential of both large and small acts of kindness.

A blend of Mesoamerican ritual, European religion and Spanish culture, the holiday is celebrated each year from October 31-November 2.

Due to a shortage of bus drivers on Thursday 9/22/22 we are having to combine bus routes. Students riding the brown route can expect a 10 - 15-minute delay in their scheduled pickup time.
Debido a la escasez de conductores de autobús el jueves 22/09/22, tendremos que combinar rutas de autobús. Los estudiantes que viajan por la ruta marrón pueden esperar un retraso de 10 a 15 minutos en su hora de recogida programada.

The Air Quality Index continues to improve so outdoor practices and activities will be allowed this afternoon.
El índice de calidad del aire continúa mejorando, por lo que se permitirán prácticas y actividades al aire libre esta tarde.
District officials have been monitoring the air quality conditions since yesterday (9/12) and will throughout the week using https://www.airnow.gov. Currently the rating is classified as “unhealthy” so at this time building administrators have been notified that all recesses and PE will be held indoors until further notice. District officials will continue to monitor the air quality conditions and will make adjustments to practices as needed. Please refer to your specific school websites for details related to your child’s activities.
Los oficiales del distrito han estado monitoreando las condiciones de la calidad del aire desde ayer (9/12) y lo harán durante toda la semana usando https://www.airnow.gov. Actualmente, la clasifican como "insalubre para grupos sensibles". Debido a esto, todos los recreos y Educación Física se llevarán a cabo en el interior hasta nuevo aviso.
